Request for Withdrawal of an item
If you feel that content in Glyndwr University Research Online [GURO] infringes UK law, please notify GURO by sending an email to including the URL of the record and the reason for the withdrawal request.
- Your complaint will be acknowledged and an initial assessment will be undertaken as soon as possible after GURO staff become aware of the complaint. We aim to acknowledge and assess the request within 10 working days of receipt.
- Where grounds for complaint are plausible, the material will be withdrawn from public view.
- It may be necessary for us to seek legal advice before the request can be fully resolved.
- If the request is well founded, the material will be permanently withdrawn from public view, although a metadata record will remain with a note explaining the reasons for withdrawal.
